balanced and his get are fabulous jumpers.
12.0 hh 2005 grey stallion by
Shenandoah Gimcrack out of Shenandoah Music. Mambrino was WPCSA National
Champion Junior Section A Stallion in 2009 and Reserve National Champion Senior
Stallion in 2010. He has lovely floating movement, a beautiful head and is very
correctly made. We are looking forward to his first foals.
Welsh Section B
Farnley Triton
13:1 hh, 2004 grey stallion by the late
Lands End Poseidon and out of Farnley’s great producer Farnley Blue Moon by
Gayfields Vida Blue. Triton has quality conformation, balance and a great way
of moving. Many times Supreme
Champion, in 2009 and 2010 he was WPCSA National Champion Section B stallion.
12:3 hh, 1999 grey stallion
by Farnley Corker out of Shenandoah Silkscreen, perhaps the best mare we bred.
Silkhat has two crosses to Farnley Lustre and like Lustre, consistently stamps
his foals with quality. In his
brief show career, he was WPCSA National Champion Section B Junior Colt. Silkhat is popular, getting nicely-marked
foals with lots of quality and sweet dispositions.
Shenandoah Cracker Jack
13:3 hh, 2000 palomino stallion
by Farnley Corker out of Benlea Cookie. Cookie is by Benlea Rambler who is the
sire of many successful show ponies including Pony Dot Com. He is a favorite
with outside breeders, giving his foals lovely temperament, more size and good
conformation.
12:3 hh, grey stallion (By
*Rotherwood Crown Prince out of CC Echo). A WPCSA National Champion Section B
Stallion in his show days, Banner has a beautiful head, lovely conformation and
is a very good mover.
12:3 hh bay stallion (by
Farnley Prelude out of Farnley Roselle). Red Sail’s sire, Farnley Prelude,
sired some lovely ponies including the late Otteridge Foxtrot. We kept this
stallion to carry forward these bloodlines and his early crops are showing
promise. He has plenty of substance and is an eye-catching bright bay with
white markings. Athletic and a nice mover.
Dartmoor
Boveycombe Banjo
11.3 hh
(by White Willow’s Prospero out of Hart’s Wild Rose). We have used this
stallion extensively on our own mares and have been pleased with the results.
Coal black, tiny ears, good head with balanced conformation.
12.0 hh, seal brown (by
Shilstone Rocks Hannibal out of Shenandoah Marionette). An outstanding individual,
Puppeteer has been Dartmoor Champion as well as Champion over other breeds.
Judge Burt from the U.K. commented,
“One of the best examples of the Dartmoor breed I have ever seen.” Dartmoors can make a wonderful
crossbred as well.
